The 29-year-old Kannada actress (born August 5, 1996, in Hassan, Karnataka) has successfully expanded her reach into Telugu and Tamil cinema while maintaining strong roots in Sandalwood.

Ashika made her acting debut with the Kannada film Crazy Boy (2016) opposite Niranjan. She gained popularity with films like Mugulu Nage (2017), Raambo 2 (2018), and delivered a standout performance in Madhagaja (2021) opposite Yash, winning the SIIMA Award for Best Actress – Kannada. Her Telugu debut came with Amigos (2023) opposite Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, followed by notable roles in Naa Saami Ranga (2024) with Nagarjuna and the medical thriller O2 (2024/2025).

As of 2026, Ashika has an exciting slate of projects. She stars in the family entertainer Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi (BMW) with Ravi Teja, the period drama Gatha Vaibhava, Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara, and the Tamil action thriller Sardar 2 opposite Karthi. Her versatility and growing popularity across industries make her one of the most promising talents in South Indian cinema.
