Actress Shalini Pandey who made her debut in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Arjun Reddy shared a heartwarming post on Instagram, wishing everyone happiness and kindness this Diwali. The actress looked elegant in a purple saree captured in a candid moment as she turned back with a gentle smile.

Recently, Shalini Pandey also made headlines for supporting Deepika Padukone’s stand on working only 8 hours a day. Deepika’s decision created a discussion in the film industry after she requested shorter working hours to maintain a healthy balance, especially after becoming a mother. Speaking about it in a chat with Hindustan Times, Shalini said, “Kudos to her for setting a precedent for us to be okay about advocating for mental health. She is incredible, so she should get whatever she wants.”

Shalini also spoke about women in the film industry working toward pay equality. She mentioned that senior actresses like Shabana Azmi have fought for women’s rights and fair treatment, and now it’s the responsibility of the younger generation to continue that fight.

She said that although the industry still has a long way to go, it’s important for women to raise their voices and ask for what they deserve. Meanwhile Shalini Pandey was last seen in Maharaj, Junaid Khan’s debut film.
