Born on March 28, 1997, in Chicago, USA, and raised in Texas, Anu Emmanuel is an American actress of Malayali descent. She started as a child artist in the Malayalam film Swapna Sanchari (2011). Her lead debut came with Action Hero Biju (2016) opposite Nivin Pauly. She made her Telugu debut the same year with Majnu alongside Nani, earning a SIIMA Best Female Debut nomination and a Producers Guild Film Award.

Anu has since built a strong career across languages, appearing in Telugu films like Oxygen, Agnyaathavaasi, Naa Peru Surya, Shailaja Reddy Alludu, Alludu Adhurs, Maha Samudram, Urvasivo Rakshasivo, and Ravanasura. In Tamil cinema, she starred in Thupparivaalan, the hit Namma Veetu Pillai, and Japan (2023) with Karthi.

Looking ahead, she has The Girlfriend (2025) in Telugu and other exciting projects lined up for 2026, continuing her journey as a versatile pan-Indian actress.
