Born on June 16, 1986, Anjali is a celebrated Indian actress known for powerful performances in Tamil and Telugu cinema. She began as a model and made her film debut in the Telugu thriller Photo (2006). Her breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed Tamil film Kattradhu Thamizh (2007).

She went on to win multiple Filmfare Awards South, including consecutive Best Actress – Tamil trophies for Angadi Theru (2010) and Engaeyum Eppothum (2011), and a Nandi Award for Geethanjali (2014). Notable films include Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Peranbu, Vakeel Saab, Gangs of Godavari (2024), and Geethanjali Malli Vachindi (2024).
