Anikha Surendran began her career as a child artiste and quickly became known for her roles alongside major stars. She appeared with Ajith in the films Yennai Arindhaal and Viswasam, which brought her wide recognition. Over the years, she has moved into lead roles and is now active across Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada cinema.

In a recent interaction, Anikha spoke openly about how she handles criticism. She shared that she does not fear negative feedback. Instead, she sees it as a chance to improve. She believes every comment teaches her something new, helping her grow both as a person and as a performer. This mindset has shaped her strong and grounded approach to life.

She also spoke about working with actor and director Dhanush in his directorial project Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. According to her, the experience was unique and full of learning. She admired Dhanush’s dedication and his habit of demonstrating scenes for the cast to follow.

Anikha explained the differences across the film industries. She feels the Malayalam industry is more fast-paced, with shorter working hours and quick schedules. On the other hand, she finds the Tamil and Telugu industries more relaxed in their style of work. Being from Kerala, she feels a special connection with Malayalam cinema, where she is treated with extra affection. In contrast, in other industries, she is already seen as a professional and respectfully called “ma’am.”
