Andrea Jeremiah shared her excitement with a new post on Instagram. She wrote, “Aaaaand we’re backkkk 🔥🔥🔥. Thank you @srm-_college & @dreambrightindia for a fab gig 🥳🥳🥳.”

Andrea also tagged the people who worked with her. She credited 📸 @osanathkumar for the photos. She mentioned MUH @prakatwork and @sharmilahairstylist for her styling.

Recently, the film Bad Girl, starring Andrea, drew controversy even before its release. The film spoke about sexual freedom, relationships, and women’s voices. Some groups opposed the content. Many others supported it on social media. The film created strong debate. Around the same time, another Andrea film, Manushi, also caught attention because of censorship issues.

Manushi is produced by director Vetrimaaran and directed by Gopi Nayar. The music is composed by Ilayaraja. The censor board refused to give a certificate. Vetrimaaran went to the Madras High Court against this decision. The board suggested cutting 25 scenes and changing 12 scenes. They found certain dialogues and visuals objectionable. Vetrimaaran opposed this strongly. The court then ordered the team to revise the film and reapply. The board was asked to issue the certificate within two weeks.

After the Bad Girl controversy, the case of Manushi again placed Andrea’s films at the center of discussions. It has sparked more debate about artistic freedom and censorship in cinema.
