Her real breakthrough came when she appeared as a TV anchor on the popular comedy show Jabardasth, which made her a household name.

She made her acting debut in films with Soggade Chinni Nayana opposite Nagarjuna, followed by a remarkable negative role in Kshanam (2016). Over the years, Anasuya has acted in several hit films including Rangasthalam and Pushpa: The Rise, where her performances were widely appreciated.
