Born on October 30, 1998, in Mumbai, Ananya Panday is the daughter of actor Chunky Panday. She made her Bollywood debut with the teen drama Student of the Year 2 (2019) opposite Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. She followed it up with Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), Khaali Peeli (2020), and earned critical praise for her nuanced performance in Gehraiyaan (2022) alongside Deepika Padukone.

Her notable films include Dream Girl 2 (2023), Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023) — which received acclaim for her performance, Bad Newz (2024), and the Netflix film CTRL (2024). In 2025, she appeared in the historical courtroom drama Kesari Chapter 2 (as Dilreet Gill) and the romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.

Looking ahead, Ananya is set to star in the intense musical love story Chand Mera Dil opposite Lakshya, produced by Dharma Productions and directed by Vivek Soni. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 22, 2026.
