Ananya Nagalla: Crafting Roles, Capturing Hearts

Ananya Nagalla is a rising Telugu film actress whose journey has captured attention for both her natural talent and career choices. Born in Sathupalli, Telangana, she initially worked as a software engineer before turning to acting.

Her first screen appearance came in the 2017 short film Shaadi, but she made her big‑screen debut with the 2019 biographical drama Mallesham, playing Padma.The film’s positive reception helped launch her career in Tollywood.

Over the next few years she appeared in diverse roles: in the legal drama Vakeel Saab (2021), romantic‑thriller Play Back (2021), and other projects that demonstrated her versatility. She has since taken on a variety of genres from thrillers to dramas and in 2024 starred in films like Pottel (for which she won a Special Jury Award at the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards), Tantra, and Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes.

In 2025 she is set to broaden her horizons: she will make her Bollywood debut in a women‑centric film directed by Rakesh Jaggi, playing a tribal girl marking her first non‑Telugu project.
