Ananya Nagalla Slays Traditional Attire In Bathukamma Photos

Ananya Nagalla shared a delightful post on Instagram celebrating Bathukamma in the United States. She captioned it, “Dolled up For bathukamma in US. Loved every bit of it ❤️”. Her traditional look was completed with makeup by @glam_byrk and jewellery from @diva_desi_label. The post reflected her joy and cultural pride while taking part in the festival away from home.

Ananya Nagalla’s journey in cinema started with small but impactful roles. While working earlier, she appeared in the short film Shaadi. Her performance earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the SIIMA Short Film Awards. She later auditioned and was chosen for the 2019 biographical film Mallesham. She was credited with her birth name, Anusha Nagalla, in the film. She took a break from her regular work to prepare for her role.

Critics appreciated her performance in Mallesham. Murali Krishna CH from The Indian Express stated that her innocence reflected well in her role as Padma, the wife of Mallesham. The News Minute highlighted that she was endearing and was given scope to express emotions. The Hindu’s Sangeetha Devi Dundoo wrote that Ananya carried innocence and made a strong debut.

In 2021, she was seen in the sci-fi drama Play Back. A reviewer from Zee Cinemalu felt she stood out among the cast. The same year, she appeared in Vakeel Saab alongside Pawan Kalyan. Director Venu Sriram selected her for this role after her work in Mallesham. Critics praised her part in the film, especially her ability to convey courage, fear, and despair.

She was last seen in Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes, a 2024 Telugu comedy thriller directed by Writer Mohan. The film starred Vennela Kishore in the lead role, with Ananya playing an important character.
