Born on 7 May 1993 in Mumbai to a Parsi family, Amyra made her acting debut in the Hindi film Issaq (2013) opposite Prateik Babbar. Her breakthrough came with the Tamil romantic thriller Anegan (2015) alongside Dhanush. She went on to appear in Mr. X (2015), the international action film Kung Fu Yoga (2017) with Jackie Chan, Kaalakaandi (2018), Prassthanam (2019), Jogi (2022), and the Tamil film Bagheera (2023).
On the digital front, she earned praise for her roles in the series Tandav (2021), Bambai Meri Jaan (2023), and the 2026 family comedy Chumbak. With projects like Shiddat 2 and other films in the pipeline, Amyra continues to balance style, substance, and versatility across Hindi, Tamil, and streaming platforms.
