Alia Bhatt Enjoys Modaks and Festive Moments with Her Sasu Ma

Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt shared glimpses of her Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Mumbai. She posted beautiful pictures on Instagram by showing how she enjoyed the festival with her family. One of the highlights was her warm moment with her mother-in-law, veteran actor Neetu Kapoor.

Alia looked elegant in a bright pink churidaar paired with traditional jewellery. Her pictures reflected the festive spirit and cultural touch. In one photo, she posed with Neetu Kapoor, holding her hand and smiling for the camera. The pictures also included delicious modaks, which are considered Lord Ganesha’s favorite sweet. Alia captioned her post, “Love, blessings & modaks 🫶🏻.”

Alia married Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor’s son, on April 14, 2022. The couple welcomed their daughter Raha in November the same year. This year, Ranbir and Neetu were also seen performing Ganpati Visarjan rituals in Mumbai. Both participated in aarti and the immersion ceremony along with devotees.

On the work front, Alia was last seen in Jigra (2024), which did not perform well at the box office. She will next appear in the action thriller Alpha, alongside Sharvari and Bobby Deol. The film is directed by Shiv Rawail and is expected to bring a strong female lead to an action-packed storyline. Another big project for Alia is Love and War, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. This movie is expected to release next year.
