Alaya F: From Jawaani Jaaneman to Her Web Series Debut Storm

Alaya F (born Aalia Furniturewala on November 28, 1997), daughter of actress Pooja Bedi, has emerged as a promising talent in Hindi cinema. Born in Los Angeles and trained in acting at the New York Film Academy, she combines charm with strong screen presence.She made her movie debut in 2020 with the comedy-drama Jawaani Jaaneman, playing Tia Singh opposite Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. Her natural performance earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and widespread praise.

Her career quickly diversified. In 2022, she impressed as Kainaaz Irani in the thriller Freddy opposite Kartik Aaryan. She followed with dual roles in Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat (2023), the remake U-Turn (2023), an action role in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (2024) alongside Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, and a supporting part as Swathi in the biopic Srikanth (2024) with Rajkummar Rao.Currently, Alaya is set to mark her web series debut in Storm, a high-stakes thriller produced by Hrithik Roshan for Amazon Prime Video. The series, featuring an ensemble cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu and Saba Azad, centers on five women entangled in deception and survival.With selective roles and growing versatility, Alaya F continues to build a distinctive career in both films and digital platforms.
