Akshara Gowda's Striking Fashion Moment

Born as Harini Gowda on December 24, 1991, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, Akshara began her career as a model before entering films. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film Uyarthiru 420 (2011). She gained wider attention with a special appearance in the blockbuster Thuppakki (2012) opposite Vijay. Her Bollywood debut came with Priyadarshan’s Rangrezz (2013), followed by a notable role in the Ajith Kumar starrer Arrambam (2013).

Over the years, she has appeared in several Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films including Irumbu Kuthirai (2014), Bogan (2017), Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae (2017), Maayavan (2017), The Warriorr (2022), Das Ka Dhamki (2023), Nene Naa (2023, also known as Meenakshi in Hindi dubbed version), and Harom Hara (2024), where she played ACP Kiranmayi.

In 2026, Akshara is part of the Kannada action thriller Terror (releasing April 10), playing Pragya alongside Adityaa and Srinagar Kitty. She is also shooting for Hailesso, a comedy entertainer with Sudigali Sudheer. With her versatile film choices across South Indian cinema and strong screen presence, Akshara Gowda continues to balance glamour with impactful supporting and lead roles.
