Akanksha Singh Chooses Black and Wins Hearts Again

Akanksha Singh is one of those actresses who quietly makes her presence felt. She does not shout for attention, yet people notice her. Akanksha Singh started her career as a theatre artiste, which helped her understand acting deeply. Her television debut came in 2012 with the popular show Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha. She played the role of Megha Vyas Bhatnagar, a widow and mother of two children. Her performance touched many hearts and made her a familiar face on Indian television. For this role, she won the Indian Telly Award for Fresh New Face Female.

After gaining success on TV, she slowly moved towards films. In 2017, she made her Hindi film debut with Badrinath Ki Dulhania. In the same year, she entered Telugu cinema with Malli Raava.
