Born on 10 January 1990 in Chennai, Aishwarya began her career as a television anchor and reality show winner of Maanada Mayilada. She made her film debut in the Tamil movie Neethana Avan (2010), followed by Avargalum Ivargalum (2011). She gained wider recognition with Attakathi (2012) and earned critical acclaim plus the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress for Kaaka Muttai (2014).

Her breakthrough came with powerful performances in Vada Chennai (2018) and the female-centric Kanaa (2018), for which she won a Filmfare Critics Award. She has worked across Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi cinema, with notable roles in Ka Pae Ranasingam, Thittam Irandu, Farhana, DeAr, and the blockbuster Sankranthiki Vasthunam (2025).

Known for choosing strong, layered characters, Aishwarya Rajesh continues to build a versatile and respected career in South Indian cinema.
