Earlier, Gopi Nainar had started a project with the same title, starring Akhil and Arundhati, but it was stopped midway. Legal issues also slowed down the process. Years later, the film was revived with Jai and Aishwarya Rajesh. Along with them, J.D. Chakravarthy, Easwari Rao, Danielle Anne Pope, and Deepa Shankar play key roles. The film features cinematography by NK Ekambaram, music by KS Prasad, and editing by Gopi Krishna.
