Born on 10 January 1990 in Chennai, Aishwarya began as a television presenter and won the dance reality show Maanada Mayilada. She made her film debut in the 2011 Tamil movie Avargalum Ivargalum and rose to prominence with Attakathi (2012). She earned critical acclaim and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Kaaka Muttai (2014), followed by standout performances in Kanaa (Filmfare Critics Award), Vada Chennai, Ka Pae Ranasingam, and The Great Indian Kitchen.

Working across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema, her recent and ongoing projects include the blockbuster Sankranthiki Vasthunam (2025), Theeyavar Kulai Nadunga, Suzhal – The Vortex Season 2, Oh Sukumari, Karuppar Nagaram, Idam Porul Eval (2026), Uttarakaanda, and Mahendragiri Varahi.
