Born on January 10, 1990, Aishwarya began as a child artist and TV anchor before winning the reality show Maanada Mayilada. She made her film debut with Avargalum Ivargalum (2011) and rose to prominence with Attakathi (2012). Her critically acclaimed performance as a mother in Kaaka Muttai (2015) earned her the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress. Breakthrough roles in Vada Chennai (2018) and the female-centric Kanaa (2018) — for which she won the Filmfare Critics Award — solidified her status as one of Tamil cinema’s leading talents. She has since expanded into Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi films.

With a string of 2023 releases including The Great Indian Kitchen, Farhana, and Soppana Sundari, Aishwarya continues to choose diverse, impactful roles. She is currently working on exciting projects like Oh Sukumari and other female-centric films across languages.

As she once embodied, “Live life as if everything is rigged in your favour” — a mantra that mirrors her resilient and triumphant journey in cinema.
