This striking recent photo captures the actress’s enduring glamour and style that have defined her public image for over two decades.
Born on 16 July 1982 in Mumbai, Aamna Sharif began with modeling and music videos before entering acting. Her film debut came in the 2002 Tamil movie Jjunction as Jennifer. She made her Hindi cinema entry in 2009 with the romantic comedy Aloo Chaat opposite Aftab Shivdasani, followed the same year by Aao Wish Karein. She later appeared in Shakal Pe Mat Ja (2011) and Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain (2014) as Sulochana, the sister of Riteish Deshmukh’s character, plus an uncredited role in Roohi (2021).
While her Bollywood films received mixed commercial results, Sharif built a strong reputation primarily through television, notably as Kashish in Kahiin to Hoga (2003–2007) and as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 (2019–2020). She transitioned successfully to digital platforms with Damaged 3 (as DSP Rashmi Singh) and Aadha Ishq in 2022.
Recent activity includes advertisements (notably reuniting with former co-star Rajeev Khandelwal) and a 2025 reality show appearance. No major new feature films are confirmed as ongoing, with her focus remaining on selective digital and television work while balancing family life after her 2013 marriage to producer Amit Kapoor.
