Aakanksha Singh began her journey as a theatre artist before making her television debut in 2012 with the popular series Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha. She entered films with a supporting role in the Hindi romantic comedy Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017). The same year, she made her Telugu debut with the critically appreciated Malli Raava, earning a SIIMA nomination for Best Female Debut – Telugu.

She went on to feature in Telugu hits like Devadas (2018), the Kannada sports drama Pailwaan (2019), and the Hindi thriller Runway 34 (2022), where she played Ajay Devgn’s wife. Recent notable work includes the Telugu family drama Shashtipoorthi (2025) and a powerful performance as SIT officer Aratrika Bhowmick in Netflix’s Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. She has also appeared in web series such as Parampara, Rangbaaz, and Bench Life.
