Aahana Kumra Steals Heart at TOIFA

A recent Instagram post by Aahana Kumra grabbed a lot of attention. The picture shows the person wearing a stylish black dress with sharp cuts, gold details and a modern design. The caption reads, “All black everything because subtle isn’t on the menu tonight. Dressed up for toifaawards tonight!”

The dress in the post is credited to House of Pinks, the jewellery is by Varnik Aarora official, styling is by Juhi Ali and makeup is by Satya.

Aahana has been in the news recently for her fresh work choices and her new creative direction. She took part in the reality show Rise and Fall, which marked a surprise shift in her career. She said in interviews that she wanted to test herself and try a new format after years of doing films, theatre and web shows.

In 2025, Aahana also launched her own production company named Working Panda Films. She started it after feeling that she wanted more control over the content she creates. The company’s first project is a music video, which she recently shot.

Aahana began her acting path in theatre, working with groups like Akvarious Productions and the well-known Motley Theatre Company. She performed in plays such as By George and Arms and the Man.

She later moved to short films and advertisements. Her first film was a short titled Mai in 2009. Her big moment on television came with the show Yudh, where she played the daughter of the lead character. Her first Hindi feature film was Sona Spa in 2013, but she became widely recognised after Lipstick Under My Burkha in 2017.

Aahana became strong in the digital space through web series like Inside Edge, Rangbaaz, and Marzi. She continued exploring different genres in films such as Khuda Haafiz, Bawri Chhori, India Lockdown, and Salaam Venky.
