Bollywood actress Amyra Dastur is once again in the spotlight after sharing a photos on Instagram. Shot by Portrait Shelter, the frame highlights Amyra’s graceful pose. The look was completed with makeup by Mukesh Patil Makeup, hair styling by Hair by Tabassum, and styling by Richa Mehta.

Meanwhile her recent powerful throwback post that instantly connected with fans. As the popular social media trend “2026 is the new 2016” gained attention, Amyra chose to walk down memory lane and revisit one of the most special phases of her career.

The actress shared unseen moments from the sets of the 2017 international action film Kung Fu Yoga, where she starred alongside global legend Jackie Chan.

In the throwback video, Amyra and Jackie Chan are seen warmly greeting Indian fans. Both say “Namaste India” to the camera, followed by Jackie Chan inviting viewers to watch Kung Fu Yoga. The moment becomes even more special when they hug and perform a fun dance step from the popular song Goosebumps. Amyra ends the clip with a playful crying expression, showing how emotional the memory still feels to her.

Other visuals in the post show Amyra preparing for her role. From kickboxing practice and action rehearsals to dance sessions and fitness training, the glimpses reveal the effort and discipline that went into the film.

Sharing the memories, Amyra wrote a heartfelt caption describing 2016 as a year of many “firsts.”

Released in 2017, Kung Fu Yoga became a major success and turned out to be Jackie Chan’s highest-grossing film in China. The movie featured an international cast and brought Amyra global attention.

On the work front, Amyra was last seen in the Punjabi romantic drama Furteela in 2024.
