Once again it’s the election time in Both Telugu states.If the reports to be believed the election for the positions of Medak MP and Nandigama MLA will be conducted on Septemeber 13.The Election commission of India today issued notification for these two seats along with nine other states including Maharashtra Haryana J& K and also possibly Delhi.
The Election comission is likely to release the press note on August20th with August 27th as last date for nomination. The counting will be done on September 16 and the results will be declared the same day.
Its known that KCR resigned to his Medak Lok Sabha seat retaining his Gajwel Assembly seat. TDP MLA-elect from Nandigama (SC) Assembly constituency in Krishna district Tangirala Prabhakara Rao expired following a cardiac arrest. However the election comission didnot mention about Allagadda constituency by-elections.
KCR contested from Medak Lok Sabha and Gajwel Assembly constituencies and won both the seats. While he won the Medak Lok Sabha seat by a record margin of 3.97 lakh votes against his nearest Congress rival Shravan Kumar Reddy. Many of TRS leaders contemplating to contest from Medak MP seat and KCR is most likely to give the ticket to his associate Prabhakar Reddy.
According to sources TDP is likely to give nandigama seat to the daughter of deceased MLA. In the past when Avanigadda MLA Ambati Brahmanayya died the seat was given to his son in his honour.
