Venkatesh bids farewell to common man

“Sad to hear the demise of legendary Cartoonist RK Laxman - The Uncommon man of India. His Cartoons always voiced for people & democracy. Farewell common man, forever”, said Venky, reacting on the yesterday’s demise of prominent Indian cartoonist RK Laxman.
Popularly known as voice of common man, RK Laxman breathed his last the other day at the age of 94. Due to urinary tract infections and kidney failure, Laxman got admitted to a hospital in Pune where his condition worsened further on Sunday and breathed last on Monday. His cartoon creation “Common Man” for leading national daily is a stunner in history forever.
